Nepals gross domestic product(GDP) for the year 2008 was estimated at over US$12 bilion. Agriculture accounts for about 40% of Nepal GDP.Agricultural produce in mostly in the terai region including tea,rice,corn,wheat, sugarcane,root crops,milk and buffalo meat.Industry  mainly involves the processing of  agricultural produce.
